Tai Chi short for Tai Chi Chuan or Taijí Quan was originally created as a fighting skill or technique by the Chinese. However, today it is practiced as an exercise which leads to excellent health benefits. It effectively combines techniques of breathing, movements, and visualizations which impact the whole body at the same time.

Tai Chi makes use of simple but effective breathing techniques and energy assimilation and dispersion to create good health and boost internal strength. The philosophy adopted by Tai Chi is simple yet profound. It simply accepts that everything in the universe is made of two opposing forces and the true test of endurance is to seek the balance between these forces.
